Expert in female hair loss management and the treatment of pigmentation disorders, Valerie Callender, MDÂ will lead a session on the Aesthetic Treatment Considerations for Skin of Color Populations, aimed at educating practitioners about the important differentiating factors when treating all skin types. Dr. Callender will also lead courses during the Hair Restoration for the Dermatologist session, such as hair loss in diverse patients and the role of topical treatments.
Glynis R. Ablon, MD, FAAD, director of the Ablon Skin Institute and Research Center will cover the topics of scarring and nonscarring alopecia, low-level laser therapy and LED light hair cap treatment. The intimate, CME Hands-On Cadaver Workshop: Full-Face Surgical Dissection and Injection Techniques for Non-Invasive Facial and Hand Rejuvenation  workshop will be held on Saturday, September 25 kicking off with a comprehensive Aesthetic Anatomy lecture followed by a full-face surgical dissection and hands-on workshop covering facial aesthetics and hand rejuvenation.
