Any provider – physician, nurse practitioner, aesthetic medicine professional, or any other extender – who administers injections must have a superior knowledge of anatomy. Outcomes analyses from pre- and post-course assessments show that “cadaver anatomy training improved applied facial anatomy knowledge for most of the aesthetic practitioners, which may enhance their confidence in performing nonsurgical facial aesthetic procedures.”
