Given the recent focus surrounding the resurgence & prevalence of skin cancer, this Specialty Session will highlight non-invasive treatments for non-melanoma skin cancers and keloids: specifically evaluating the applications of Superficial Radiation Therapy (SRT).
This one-day Symposium will review the most recent clinical applications and literature & consensus guidelines, and compare radiation therapy modalities, appropriate pathology, clinical set-up, patient safety recommendations, radiation dermatitis and its latent effects, the history & future of SRT, coding, and documentation. Participants will learn how low energy X-ray technology, known as superficial radiotherapy, has been used to effectively and safely treat both oncological and non-oncological skin conditions in thousands of patients.
This full-day Specialty Session will additionally evaluate over a decade of dedicated clinical research and development, including lectures specifically focused on patient case studies, and a panel discussion conducted by expert faculty members & practicing clinicians.
Only interested in Superficial Radiation Therapy? Is your Practice Manager or Marketing Director unable to attend the full SBS conference? A one-day registration pass for the Superficial Radiation Therapy Session is $99.
