IMPORTANT EVENT UPDATE

Due to unexpected circumstances and recent unforeseen limitations imposed by the event venue, we find ourselves in an unparalleled situation where we could not accommodate all of our registrants for the October meetings in California.

Our first priority is always to our faculty and attendees and due to the difficulties in providing sleeping rooms, we have made the decision to go virtual with this program.

Although this predicament is a huge credit and honor to the meeting’s program/agenda and all- star faculty/speakers, we did not want to have to limit the number of registrants to the meeting.

We appreciate your understanding and are excited to provide the same brilliant educational
courses to our audience via the virtual format on Saturday, October 15th from 10:00am – 3:15pm ET.

We are finalizing the time and agenda for this virtual program and will provide it on this page shortly.

In the meantime, we urge you to please subscribe via email if you have not done so already, in order to receive official notification of the updated agenda which should be available shortly.

SOC
Pediatric patients with skin of color (SoC) can be disproportionately affected by numerous dermatologic conditions including atopic dermatitis, acne, hidradenitis suppurativa, pigmentary disorders, vitiligo, hair and scalp disorders, scarring, and laser treatments. In particular, children with darker pigmented skin can be more susceptible or have a greater disease burden associated with those dermatologic conditions or procedures. As such, there are challenges to diagnosis and treatment that clinicians need to be knowledgeable about.

It is important that clinicians are not only aware of the disparities seen across multiple disease states, but that they are aware of changes to practice that need to be made in order to address these gaps. Through education in various relevant therapeutic areas, as well as expert-led case discussions, this deep-dive hosted by the Masters of Pediatric Dermatology will allow clinicians premier educational content from the foremost experts in pediatric SOC dermatologic care.
