Dr. Pozner is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and American Board of Surgery, and is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the most prestigious organization of its kind. As founder and medical director Sanctuary Medical Center, Dr. Pozner is widely experienced in the latest and most effective cosmetic procedures, and is credited for inventing the fast-healing ArticPeel skin procedure.

Dr. Pozner has been assistant professor of plastic surgery at Johns Hopkins Medical Center in Maryland and currently serves as adjunct clinical faculty in the Department of Plastic Surgery at the Cleveland Clinic in Florida. His commitment to education manifests in his own desire to stay on the cutting edge of innovation and technology with surgical, noninvasive, and minimally invasive therapies.

Education and Training

Dr. Pozner graduated from Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in 1987 with a Distinction in Research, where he trained for five years in an intensive general surgery residency. After becoming Chief Resident in 1992, he completed his Plastic Surgery residency at State University of New York Downstate Medical Center as well as two fellowships in Microsurgery and Aesthetic Surgery at Maryland’s esteemed Johns Hopkins Hospital.

Professional Highlights

Dr. Pozner is the co-founder and medical director of Sanctuary Medical Center in Boca Raton, Florida. His career as a plastic surgeon was inspired by his father, a successful New Jersey physician who founded a thriving health spa and diet center.
