Dr. Raja K. Sivamani takes an integrative and holistic approach to dermatology that is patient-focused and merges modern science and Western medicine with nutrition, herbal medicine, and lifestyle-centered practices. He holds the title of adjunct associate professor of clinical dermatology at the University of California Davis and California State University Sacramento, maintains a clinical dermatology practice, and is a frequent guest lecturer at virtual and in-person conferences and symposiums.
Dr. Sivamani’s integrative research interests focus on both clinical and medical dermatology. He has published extensively in peer-reviewed journals on topics spanning traditional dermatology and alternative medicine approaches to: the treatment of common skin conditions such as acne, atopic dermatitis, rosacea, and psoriasis; the gut-skin axis; herbal medicine; cosmeceuticals and botanicals; and Ayurvedic approaches to dermatology.
