Dr. Omer Ibrahim is co-director of Chicago Cosmetic and Dermatologic Research and holds clinical faculty from the Harvard, Yale, and Brown Departments of Dermatology. During his dermatology residency at Cleveland Clinic, he served as chief resident and trained with Wilma Fowler Bergfeld, MD, one of the nation’s top experts on hair loss. He has published numerous peer-reviewed articles, book chapters, and editorials on general, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology, and participated in numerous research trials covering topics ranging from hair loss to innovative laser anti-aging treatments. In addition, he has presented his work and research at national and international meetings.
Dr. Ibrahim serves as adjunct faculty at Cleveland Clinic where he teaches residents the fundamentals of cosmetic dermatology. He focuses his practice on both general and cosmetic dermatology, while placing a strong emphasis on patient education and mapping comprehensive treatment plans for each individual patient. Alongside his extensive research and expertise in the field of hair loss, Dr. Ibrahim also specializes in injectables such as Botox, Dysport, Juvederm, Restylane, Sculptra, and Radiesse, and all laser procedures for red blood vessels, brown spots and laser resurfacing.
