About

Dr. Michelle B. Tarbox is an assistant professor of Dermatology and Dermatopathology at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center, where she serves on the Educational Policy Committee and the Faculty Research Committee. She volunteers regularly at the Impact Health Free Clinic to care for those without medical insurance and works with the Women’s Dermatological Society to offer free cancer screenings. Dr. Tarbox is an active clinical researcher and currently has grants in place to study acne scarring treatments and cosmetic dermatology. Dr. Tarbox has contributed significantly to the scientific literature through original research, case reports, review articles, book chapters, and an honors thesis.
