Dr. Markus D. Boos is an attending pediatric dermatologist at Seattle Children’s Hospital and associate professor in the Department of Pediatrics at the University of Washington School of Medicine. He is also the Associate Program Director for the Dermatology Residency Program at the University of Washington. Dr. Boos is an advocate for health equity. He cares for all children with skin disorders but has a special interest in LGBTQ health, primary immunodeficiencies and the intersection of climate change and dermatology. When not seeing patients, Dr. Boos teaches residents, lectures at national dermatology conferences, works to reduce health care disparities and strives to help Seattle Children’s administration meet its carbon-neutral goal by 2025.
