Margaret Oliviero completed her undergraduate degree in nursing (1977) from Wagner College in Staten Island New York, and her graduate degree from the same college in 1991. She completed her post-graduate work at FAU in 2000, and successfully passed her (ANCC) nurse practitioner certification boards in October of the same year.
Margaret was hired in 1982 as a registered nurse with Dermatology Associates (now Skin and Cancer Associates/ADM) and has worked for the same group for over 35 years.
An avid dermoscopist and confocalist, Margaret teaches nationally and internationally at various programs on the importance of these medical devices in the early diagnosis and management of skin cancers. Over the years, she along with her mentor and boss Harold S. Rabinovitz MD, has been involved in several research studies involving imaging devices and their role in skin cancer identification, as well as a more recent study involving Vismodegib in treating metastatic or unresectable basal cell carcinomas.
