About

Dr. James R. Treat is a pediatric dermatologist with the Dermatology Section at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia and associate professor of Clinical Pediatrics and Dermatology at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania. He is double-board certified in Dermatology and Pediatric Dermatology by the American Board of Dermatology. His areas of expertise include acne, atopic dermatitis, allergic contact dermatitis, hemangiomas and vascular malformations, infectious diseases, complex medical dermatology, inpatient dermatology, and pulsed dye laser therapy for vascular lesions. Dr. Treat’s research interests are in skin infections and hemangiomas.
